The PCH Barrier is a complete concrete block hoarding system, engineered for environments where visibility management and vehicle impact resistance must work in tandem. It features a heavy-duty precast concrete base with a modular timber hoarding extension, creating a 7.9 ft high installation ideal for roadside, infrastructure, and construction perimeter protection.

The 5,512 lb concrete base is based on HERMEQ’s tested Temporary Vertical Concrete Barrier (TVCB) design, measuring 10.3 ft in overall length and 18 in in width. This mass is paired with pressure-treated timber hoarding panels, which include Class 3 rated 0.7 in plywood boards and structural C16-grade posts and rails. The combination provides both crash resistance and visual shielding.

Key features & benefits:

  • Concrete block for retaining wall and hoarding base – Offers foundation-level support for long runs of screening panels.
  • Timber hoarding fixed via angle gussets – Secured using coach screws and bolts for lasting rigidity.
  • Modular installation – Ideal for long perimeter lines requiring repeated sections.
  • Heavy-duty blocks – Built with 7,250 psi concrete for maximum crash performance.

This system is trusted for shielding construction zones in urban or roadside environments where public exposure and pedestrian safety must be tightly managed. The modular hoarding panels provide a clean finish while meeting all external durability standards.
