Handling & Lifting

HERMEQ dumping hoppers collect debris, rubble and production waste on construction sites and in plants, then carry it to a dumpster or container and empty it without anyone tipping the load by hand. Loading and emptying are quick, and sizes run from small hoppers that sit beside a machine to large crane-lifted boat hoppers. The forklift self-dumping hoppers and heavy-duty dumping hoppers, also known as roll-forward hoppers, are built to OSHA requirements. The telehandler dumping hopper locks onto the forks automatically, so the operator stays in the cab from pickup to dump. Across the range, hoppers are handled by forklifts, telehandlers and cranes.

Forklift attachments turn a standard forklift into a lifting, handling and site maintenance machine, so one truck covers work that would otherwise need a crane, a loader or a sweeper. The HERMEQ range covers fork-mounted road sweepers, work platforms, lifting hooks, jibs and scissor grabs, along with fork extensions, drum lifters, bulk bag lifters, scoop buckets and snow equipment. The attachments are built for construction and sitework, warehouses and distribution centers, waste and recycling operations, facilities maintenance and public works.

Lifting attachments from HERMEQ move heavy or awkward materials and equipment around the jobsite on a crane hook, on forklift forks or on an excavator. Crane pallet forks turn a site crane into a pallet mover, and self-leveling crane forks stay level whether loaded or empty for crane lifts of brick packs. Curb stone handles and lifters let a crew carry and set heavy curbs, steps, natural stone blocks and other bulky pieces by hand or from a crane. The range also covers cages, hoppers and carriers built for specific materials, with crane lugs or fork pockets so a load can move by crane or by forklift.

HERMEQ supplies telehandler attachments that turn the forks of a telehandler or forklift into a tool for waste, bulk material and awkward loads. Self-dumping hoppers, on casters or with an auto-lock that engages and releases the forks, are tipped while still connected to the machine. Fork extensions slide over the existing forks to carry longer loads, in versions for 4 x 2 in and 6 x 2.4 in forks and a heavy duty model. Telehandler buckets and grapple buckets lift and carry loose material and bulky waste, and the range also covers jibs, lifting hooks, bulk bag carriers, drum lifters and waste cart lifters for construction, agricultural and industrial work.

HERMEQ container ramps and vehicle access equipment give forklifts and crews a safe way into shipping containers, trailers and trucks where there is no loading dock. The range covers steel threshold ramps for containers on the ground, hydraulic yard ramps that raise a forklift to trailer height, mobile unloading platforms, truck and side access steps, and forklift work platforms for inspection and maintenance at height. For crossings on the jobsite, an aluminum walkway bridge with anti-slip decking and folding handrails carries foot traffic over trenches and open excavations.

HERMEQ supplies mortar tubs, plastic pallets and pallet boxes for storing and transporting materials on jobsites, in equipment yards and in warehouses. Most of the range is steel pallet cages and wire mesh containers, many of them zinc-plated or galvanized, with mesh sides that hold awkward loads in place on the truck and in the stack. The mortar tubs are UV-resistant plastic with fork channels, and the plastic pallets are made for years of reuse in racking and clean handling. Our industrial pallet boxes have reinforced sides and smooth interior walls, so they empty, wash out and dry quickly between loads.
