The HERMEQ Concrete Frost Blanket delivers premium all-season insulation to support proper curing of freshly poured concrete. Designed for reuse across US construction, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects, it prevents frost damage and thermal cracking by retaining stable curing temperatures—even in freezing or windy conditions.

Its closed-cell foam structure provides long-lasting water resistance, thermal insulation, and resistance to wear. Commonly used to cover large slabs, structural pours, road bases, and pre-cast components, this blanket ensures strength development and surface quality during temperature-sensitive curing windows.

  • Thermal rating: -148°F to +176°F (-100°C to +80°C)
  • Reusable & tear-resistant – Built for multiple site deployments
  • Low water absorption: 2% after 24 hrs
  • Fast setup – Easily cut and laid on slabs, precast, or irregular pours
  • Applications: Roadwork, foundations, site flatwork, precast shielding

With a nominal density of 1.87 lb/ft³ (30 kg/m³) and compressive strength up to 33 psi (230 kPa), it handles jobsite abuse while maintaining flexibility for transport and re-rolling. A sustainable alternative to disposable blankets or tarps.

Common uses: Bridge pours, airport runways, retaining walls, precast sections, concrete footings, slab-on-grade curing.

HERMEQ also supplies Road Forms, Road Plates, and Access Mats for full groundworks support across the US.

What’s the main purpose of a concrete frost blanket?
It insulates curing concrete during cold weather to prevent cracking, weak bonding, or structural damage.

Can I reuse this blanket?
Yes. It's built from tear-resistant closed-cell foam and can be used on multiple projects.

Does it absorb water?
No. It absorbs less than 2% water after full submersion.

What temperatures can it handle?
Rated between -148°F and +176°F (-100°C to +80°C).
