Rigid road forms—also known as road formers—provide durable, reusable edge shuttering for concrete slabs, roads, and foundations. Pressed twice for cleaner edges and better strength, these 10ft forms include 7/8" drilled holes for rebar connection between slabs. Road form stakes attach via locking mechanisms on the rear of the form.
Suitable for all slab thicknesses, they’re essential for consistent straight-line formwork.

HERMEQ rigid road forms are designed for professional concrete shuttering, ensuring consistent formwork for roadways, sidewalks, floor slabs, and foundations. Each form is manufactured using heavy-duty pressed steel and features rounded edges for ease of handling and cleaner slab results. At 10 feet long and 0.16 inches thick, these forms offer stability for all types of concrete jobs.
Each road form includes 7/8" pre-drilled holes that are designed specifically for rebar insertion, allowing one concrete pour to connect securely to the next. These holes are not related to the staking system. Road form stakes are instead inserted through the three locking mechanisms located on the back of each road form. Once driven into the ground and locked using the wedge, these stakes hold the form firmly in place throughout the pour. Ideal for groundworks, civil engineering, and site preparation tasks requiring repeatable, stable concrete edges.

This variant includes rebar connection holes, which allow steel rods to pass through and tie one slab to the next. Each road form also features three rear locking mechanisms for use with HERMEQ’s 7/8" x 24" road form stakes. The stakes are inserted through the lock housings on the back of the form and driven into the subgrade, then locked into place with the wedge to maintain alignment. When pouring thicker slabs or high-pressure areas, this prevents any bulge or misalignment during curing.
Road forms are offered in a range of depths to suit every pour depth. Stake compatibility is uniform across all depths, and HERMEQ’s road form accessories include stillages, stake bins, and extractor tools for safer, cleaner site management.
