A low-density polyethylene spill land boom that absorbs spills in an emergency. Cost-effective, this one-use spill boom is lightweight with puncture resistance. Designed so the two outer tubes are filled with water, the center is kept empty to prevent the boom from rolling down slopes. Any water can be used to fill the tubes.

Thickness: 500 gauge (125 microns). Available in 2 lengths: 33 ft and 328 ft.

Details

Designed by firefighters to aid in emergencies, this spill land boom is a one-use, cost-effective land barrier that contains spills swiftly to combat chemical spills. Lightweight and flexible, the spill land boom has puncture resistance and is sealed by knotting the end of the boom or with a cable tie.

The spill land boom operates by filling the two outer tubes with water. Any water source can be used to fill the tubes. The center stays empty to prevent the boom from rolling down slopes, hills, and uneven surfaces.

The spill land boom is resistant to most liquids, but it is not recommended for use with strong oxidizing agents as contact may lead to spontaneous combustion.
