This spill pad works by solidifying oil and fuel into solid rubber using smart polymer technology. The polymers react to hydrocarbons and convert them into a rubber-like substance that remains locked inside the pad. Once solidified, the contaminants won’t leak out—even under pressure washing or rain exposure.
Unlike traditional absorbent pads and trays that soak and leak, this spill pad requires no liner and doesn’t act like a sponge. It eliminates the issue of liners filling with oily rainwater, which must be disposed of as hazardous waste. By converting spills into solids, there’s no risk of overflow or runoff.
This cost-effective spill pad features a durable mesh outer layer that distributes oil across the entire surface, maximizing use before replacement.
With a multi-year lifespan, the pad can be safely cleaned when muddy—no contaminants will wash out. It can also be hung on equipment without leakage.
