HERMEQ’s LowPro 16/12 Trench Cover is a high-performance alternative to steel road plates or wood trench boards. Engineered from reinforced plastic, it spans trenches up to 35 in (900 mm) wide and supports loads up to 3.5 tons—ideal for U.S. public works, utility crews, and street maintenance teams.
This anti-slip trench cover features a textured surface and is HAUC 2018/01 compliant with a 2:1 safety factor. It bolts down to pavement or substrate for a secure, trip-free fit on sidewalks, jobsite crossings, or city roadworks. At just 73 lb (33 kg), it’s easy to handle without heavy equipment and doesn’t damage finished surfaces like steel plates often do.
