Our Bunded Oil Tanks are an oil and HVO fuel storage solution used in commercial, residential, and agricultural environments. Both premium quality mild steel and UV-stabilized recyclable plastic bunded oil tanks are available to prevent oil wastage and contamination – leaks and spillages are contained within the bunded layer.

Bunded Oil Tanks can be supplied up to 3,963 gallons and meet U.S. storage regulations.

Details

Bunded Oil Tanks are engineered with a secondary containment system – featuring an outer tank (also known as a bund) that surrounds the main tank. This design is favored for preventing the spillage of oil and fuels and protecting against ground contamination, ensuring oil is securely stored within the primary tank. Our Bunded Tanks offer a minimum 110% bund capacity to comply with safety regulations.

These Bunded Oil Tanks are also compatible with HVO fuel and HVO kerosene blends.

Tanks are weather-resistant and have a serviceable life expectancy of over 30 years with regular maintenance.

Bunded Oil Tanks are a safer and more environmentally responsible solution for oil storage than single-skin tanks due to their design and construction.

Our Bunded Oil Tanks are available with optional extras:

  • Electronic Watchman Sonic Gauge – remotely monitor oil levels in your tank
  • Top Outlet – 10mm top outlet used where oil must be drawn from the top of the tank. Calibrated with anti-siphon protection up to 63in as standard.

Bunded Oil Tanks are required in certain situations when storing oil on a property in the United States. Regulations may vary by state, but generally apply to larger tanks or when there's risk of contamination to surface or groundwater. All tanks over 925 gallons typically must be bunded. Consult local environmental regulations for details.

All Bunded Oil Tanks come with a 10-year guarantee upon registration – we recommend regular maintenance to extend your tank's lifespan.
