Crowd Control Barrier - Fixed Leg

SKU MB0033

Crowd Control Barriers help clearly mark footpaths and guide pedestrian traffic safely. These fixed leg barriers require no accessories and can easily deal with uneven terrain. Our crowd barriers come with a galvanized finish as standard, which guards against rusting, but the barriers can be powder coated if required.

All of our crowd control barriers and related products such as walkthrough crowd barriers are manufactured in-house. We can supply directly from our manufacturing sites or through our nationwide depot network. We also export crowd control barriers worldwide.

Our manufacturing is supported by HERMEQ Steel, part of the HERMEQ Group. This allows internal sourcing to reduce costs, making our crowd barriers some of the most cost-effective on the market. Our powder coating plant features an effluent treatment system, powder recovery, and heat recovery, making it one of the most environmentally friendly operations available.

Barriers act as physical and visual guides for crowd control and queueing. They are strongest when interlocked with the hook-and-eye system. The single-piece frame and thicker gauge steel provide durability and longer lifespan, ideal for repeated use.

Barriers can be galvanized, painted, or powder coated. Custom branding is available. Contact sales@hermeq-usa.com for details. Note: Minor scratches may appear from bulk movement in handling.

What Makes a Good Pedestrian Safety Barrier?

Strong – Should withstand crowd pressure. Best built from 0.04–0.05 in thick steel.

Durable – Fewer welds increase lifespan. Our 7.5 ft one-piece barrier has a single weld.

Stackable – Offset legs allow for compact storage and stability on uneven terrain.

Separating Pedestrians & Vehicles at Work:

Recommended safety measures include:

  • Protective barriers
  • Clear visual route markings
  • Raised curbs

Provide barriers at key areas like entrances, corners, and street access points. These barriers are built from thicker gauge steel to extend service life. They're trusted by event organizers and construction firms alike for safety and efficiency.

Fixed leg barriers feature splayed, domed feet for safety and stackability. For flat storage, consider the Loose Leg Barrier version.

What’s the difference between crowd control, pedestrian, and ped barriers?

Nothing—they’re simply different names for the same product.

Loose Leg vs Fixed Leg Barriers?

Loose leg barriers are easier to store flat; fixed leg barriers offer better durability. Our fixed leg version uses thicker steel and offset feet to improve performance and storage.

What’s the clearance between the bottom bar and the ground?

Approximately 9 inches, though this may vary slightly.
